May 2011

 What an exciting month.  I cannot believe that our girls will be Bridging in just a few weeks!  We have eight girls who will be Brownies next year, and two that will be Daisies for another year.  They are such a great group of girls.  It has been an honor to watch them grow - and I can't wait to see what the next year brings!

April 2011

April was a busy month for our troop!

First, Spring Break.  Daisy Dog went to Florida with Mrs. Welch.  :)

We worked on our Green Petal Projects.

And we went to the Atlanta History Center for their annual 
"Sheep to Shawl" event.  So fun!!

          

Parent Meeting March 28th!

We will have a parent meeting on March 28th to discuss Re-Registration, bridging from Daisies to Brownies, end of the year activities, summer calendar, and preparations for 2011-2012. Please attend if you are able!

In March, Troop 11584

celebrated Girl Scout week by making troop t-shirts,
held a cookie sale booth,
and learned about mythical creatures at Fernbank Museum of Natural History.

In February, our troop learned about
the country of Turkey and attended
International Festival for World Thinking Day.

Our troop started selling Girl Scout Cookies


and we began taking turns housing "Daisy Dog"
- our troop Mascot. :)
